Emma Dilanyan was born in Yerevan, in an environment deeply rooted in art. Although her parents initially guided her toward music, her creative talent found its true expression in visual art. From an early age, Emma felt a strong connection to painting, which became more intentional at the age of 13, when she began independently studying the fundamentals of drawing.
Her educational path includes studies at the Panos Terlemezyan College of Fine Arts in Yerevan, followed by the Graphic Arts College in Jihlava, Czech Republic. These formative years helped her refine her artistic language and deepen her mastery of the craft. Since her student years, Emma has taken part in numerous exhibitions, presenting her diverse and distinctive works.
Today, Emma continues her artistic journey, participating in both local and international exhibitions. Beyond her personal artistic practice, she also works as a curator—organizing exhibitions and art events for various artists, thus contributing to the development and dissemination of contemporary Armenian art.
Dilanyan’s artistic focus spans figurative and landscape genres, where she harmoniously blends color, form, and space to explore the subtle nuances in the relationship between humans and nature. For Emma, art is a profound and emotional form of self-expression—an opportunity to examine the human soul and the boundless beauty of the natural world, creating a dialogue that speaks intimately to the viewer.
